To start using the Vitality for Siemens Application, the Siemens Technician will open the Vitality for Siemens App inside the Industrial Edge Marketplace. When they open the App, the Site Name and the Site ID are the same value of the MAC Address.
The User clicks on the Engage Platform Switch,
Clicks Submit.
The Tech copies the MAC Address to be used for later. They will then Click the Enter Vitality IO button to open up the Siemens White Label version of Vitality.
It will display the following screen:
They will log in.
First Time Log In
If this is their first time, the User will need to click the new User button to create a new User.
Enter the MAC Address
They will then need to create a new Client.
They will then go to Apps: Smart IE Data Source
They will now create a property
After creating the Property, they will now select the property
Import the Gateway
Here is where the Tech will put in the saved MAC Address
Click Submit
Check the devices and points you want to import and click submit.
